String Theory
When the string theory was introduced in in 1974 scientists were optimistic that it would solve all the physics problems with one equation. The fact is though, that is never going to happen. Although it solved the issue of gravity's affect on space and the complexity of mechanical physics it still wasn't a reasonable answer. String theory is the idea that there are an infinite amount of different dimensions. These dimensions are supposedly folded up on each other like origami, an example used by K.C Cole in his article about String Theory. Scientists today realize that string theory only exists in theoretical physics, which means that there is no evidence behind it just theoretical math and creativity power this idea. Even so, scientists are looking for a way to make string theory a reality and bring it into the world of nature.
